Why I'm Stoked for the NFL Season to Be Back

The NFL regular season is back, which means that we finally get football that counts again. The 100th season will take us up to February, so enjoy the ride. Here's a few reasons why I'm stoked for the NFL season to be back.

• Something to Do On Sundays: We've had our Sundays occupied by yard work and other uninspiring chores and tasks. Therefore, it's fitting for the NFL to make its return, even as Roger Goodell tries his best to sabotage the game.
  
• Content to Write About: I tried my best to diversify my topics during the summer (thank goodness for the NBA's busy off-season) because I didn't want to be stuck talking about baseball all summer. The NFL provides me with more content to work with and more possibilities to explore.
  
• The History: The NFL has an illustrious history, ranging from the Packers' past dominance to the Patriots' current dynasty. The hallowed halls of the NFL legacy ring with the presence of legendary figures and make the foundation for what the game is today.
  
• I'm Not a Big Fan of Fall: Fall is usually when I get seasonally saddened. The temperatures drop, winter's just around the bend, and I have to wear a jacket. At least there's the NFL to make my troubles go away and keep me sane.
