Who can stop Gonzaga?

The Gonzaga Bulldogs look unbeatable. Jalen Suggs is leading the way, scoring 13.9 PPG along with 5.4 APG. He's been an efficient floor general, orchestrating a fluid offense that includes forward Corey Kispert (21.6 PPG, 63.4 FG%). In fact, this offense is second in Division I basketball with 95.1 PPG and is fourth in assists with 20.7 APG.

The Bulldogs have also beaten a hodgepodge of top teams, doing so in convincing fashion. They handled Kansas (102-90), dominated Iowa (99-88), and demolished Virginia (98-75). The closest victory they've had was five points against West Virginia. With that being said, is there anybody that can beat Gonzaga?
  • Texas Tech: Chris Beard's squad plays an airtight defensive set, swarming to the ball at every opportunity. In fact, Beard's squad beat the Bulldogs in their Elite Eight matchup in 2019, 75-69. If there's any team that can throw the Bulldogs off rhythm on offense, it's the Red Raiders.
  • Baylor: Believe it or not, the Bears had a matchup with Gonzaga before it got postponed. Baylor is another team that can lock down the floor. However, they can keep up with Gonzaga on offense; the Bears are tied for third with 92.9 PPG and are second in assists with 20.8 APG. Baylor has a myriad of offensive options, including forward Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua and guard Jared Butler.
  • Syracuse: Jim Boeheim's squad traditionally plays a zone defense that frustrates opponents endlessly. Their defense takes away all looks and guards the basket well. If Gonzaga gets caught in their scheme, it could spell doom for Mark Few's Bulldogs.
