What Should the New Seattle NHL team Be Named?

With the 32nd NHL team on the horizon, the Puget Sound will finally be getting an NHL team. But a team needs to have a name. What should Seattle's first NHL team be nicknamed?

• Totems: The Totems were actually going to be an expansion franchise in 1974, but would-be owner Vince Abbey missed numerous deadlines and couldn't secure financing. However, the franchise was a World Hockey League staple for nearly a couple decades and briefly joined the Central Hockey League before folding in 1975. The original Totems won three WHL Lester Patrick Championships in their history (1959, 1967, and 1968).
  
• Metropolitans: Did you know that the first U.S. team to win the Stanley Cup was the Seattle Metropolitans? Granted, they won't hoist the 1917 banner to the rafters if Tod Leiweke picks this nickname. But it would still be a nice throwback to one of the older franchises in hockey.
  
• Kraken: Mythical creatures encountered while sailing the stormy seas for a team name? Sounds like an NHL team to me.
  
• Steelheads: The steelhead is a fish commonly found in Washington State. It would be a good representative of the state if Oak View Group went with this name. But would a fish without much fight in it be intimidating to opponents? Then again, Penguins are a thing in the NHL.
  
• Sasquatches: A nod to the folklore that roams the Pacific Northwest (allegedly), a team named after Bigfoot would actually befit the NHL team.
  
• Supersonics: No. Let's not go there.
