West Ham United's To-Do List

West Ham United finished as a middle-of-the-pack squad in the Premier League, finishing with 52 points and tenth in the Premier League. What can they do to compete for higher European competition next season?

• Look For A Forward: The Hammers are interested in bringing Fulham striker Aleksander Mitrovic, who had 11 goals and three assists in 39 appearances for the Cottagers last season. Mitrovic is a physical player who would be a good fit in Manuel Pelligreni's 4-5-1 formation. Mitrovic also won an average of 6.3 aerial duels last season and can be a tough player to tackle and prepare for.
• Add More Depth: West Ham's also looking at Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez and his midfielder teammate Stanislav Lobotka. This might be a tough endeavor considering the pair's valued at 58 million Euros and Gomez has gotten significant interest from Valencia. West Ham might also have to offload Pedro Obiang, Angelo Ogbonna, and Javier Hernandez to get the necessary funds.
  
• Let Manuel Pellegrini Do His Stuff: Pellegrini has ambitious plans to turn the Hammers into a "big club". He has already added goaltender depth and is keen on adding more as he goes. There is big business to be done along the way, however. Therefore, Pellegrini's work is far from done.
