The MLB Preview for The Season That Might Not Happen: NL Central

With the season that might not happen, we continue our preview. This time, we're covering one of the tougher divisions in baseball, the NL Central. With so many good teams, what should we expect?

• Top Dog(s): St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers: St. Louis has a stellar pitching staff and are the best fielding team in baseball. Milwaukee has Christian Yelich anchoring a potent lineup and a stellar bullpen. These two teams will be competing for the top of the NL Central this season.
  
• Dark Horse Team: Cincinnati Reds: Adding Nick Castellanos to the team indicates that the Reds are ready to contend this season. With a young, yet formidable bullpen and a young team altogether, the Reds might be in that fight with the Cardinals and Brewers for that NL Central crown.
  
• Team on the Downfall: Chicago Cubs: With the Cubs falling by the wayside, there are many questions regarding where this team will go in the next four seasons. It's sad since there was so much hype about the Cubs potentially being a dynasty after their 2016 World Series win.
  
• Bottom of the Barrel: Pittsburgh Pirates: Lost in the competitive division are the Pittsburgh Pirates. They added Ben Cherington, who's known to build up stellar farm systems. This is what Pittsburgh needs right now, especially after being at the bottom for so long.
