Texans' Off-Season Checklist

The Houston Texans were beating the tar out of the Kansas City Chiefs before the Chiefs pulled a reversal and beat the tar out of the Texans. What are the Texans doing to finally get to the Super Bowl?

• Reevaluate If Bill O'Brien Is Fit For The Job: Bill O'Brien is not only the head coach of the Houston Texans, he's the general manager. So when O'Brien shipped DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona for a bag of peanuts, the backlash was strong. It got only stronger when reports rose of a rift between Hopkins and O'Brien, with the head coach comparing Hopkins to Aaron Hernandez. Geez.
  
• Get A Stronger Pass Rush: Yes, the Texans do have J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus was extended. However, Romeo Crennel could use more guys on the edge and in the middle of his defense. This is especially true with Jadeveon Clowney gone. Bradlee Anae would be a good fit in Crennel's defense.
  
• Find A Second Running Back (done): It's David Johnson, who fell short of expectations in Arizona. Johnson is hoping for a resurgence in Houston with Deshaun Watson. But now, Houston may also need a receiver for Watson with Hopkins gone.
