Takeaways From Week Six in the NFL Season

A couple of winless teams got on the board with their first victories of the season. There was also an ass whooping administered by a blue blood franchise. What happened in Week Six of the NFL season?
  • Pittsburgh Showed Cleveland What a Real Team Is: In a 38-7 beating dished out by the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Steelers sacked Baker Mayfield four times while forcing him to throw two picks (one of those a pick-six by Minkah Fitzpatrick). Bud Dupree had a big day for the Steelers himself, making four tackles and getting two sacks. As for Cleveland, it's a bitter reality of being behind the two front runners in Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Luckily for the Browns, four of their next five games are against teams below .500.
  • Here Come the Bucs: It's been ages since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made the playoffs. However, the Bucs are showing their mettle (finally!) after beating Green Bay, 38-10. Tom Brady didn't have to do much in the game, either. Ronald Jones III ran the ball 23 times for 113 yards and two touchdowns and Rob Gronkowski chipped in with five catches for 78 yards and a touchdown. Tampa Bay will have their work cut out for them in the next six weeks; five of their next six games are against teams above .500.
  • The Houston Texans Are Still a Mess: After blowing a two-point conversion that would've sealed the game for the Texans, Romeo Crennel's team eventually lost to the Titans in overtime, 42-36. Not even getting rid of Bill O'Brien could solve this dilemma as the Texans let Derrick Henry run for 212 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.
Top Five Power Rankings
