The playoff field is narrowing! What happened in Week 16 of the NFL season?

• Squandered Chances: The Cleveland Browns vs. the New York Jets was the definition of a squandered chance. Cleveland had a chance to get their first playoff berth since 2002 and squandered it by giving Baker Mayfield the ball (ironically, the Browns had six receivers on the COVID list). Now, they have to face a Pittsburgh Steelers team that they don't match up well against. The New York Jets squandered their chance at the No. 1 pick by winning. Now, the Jacksonville Jaguars are in line to get Trevor Lawrence. Squandered chances from two teams that squander them the most.
  
• Another Raiders Collapse: After starting 6-4, the Las Vegas Raiders fell off a cliff. They lost four of their last five games, en route to being eliminated from the playoffs. How? A lack of a presence on the front four along with a young team. Jon Gruden must do better than this. He must get more from his team and get help with an edge rusher and an additional linebacker.
  
• Wild Fight for the Last Playoff Spot: In the AFC, it's between the Browns, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, and Baltimore Ravens for two playoff spots at the most. The competition will be fierce, with a myriad of scenarios playing out. Who makes it in? Stay tuned.
