Takeaways from the last week of the NFL season

The playoff picture is set sans the NFC East winner (not like anybody cares, anyways). This year, we have an extra playoff spot open. That means more chaos and more anarchy. With that being said, here's what happened in the last week of the NFL season.

• How 'Bout Dem Cowboys? Eliminated Again: The Dallas Cowboys ended a dismal season by losing to the New York Giants, 23-19 (We got a code 23-19!). As a result, they also got eliminated from playoff contention. Granted, Dak Prescott was out for a majority of the season and would've made a major difference for the Cowboys. However, it's yet another disappointing season for Dallas as Jerry Jones's squad falls short of expectations once again. What was a disappointing year for the NFC East was led by its most disappointing member, the Cowboys. Their fans should expect more from their franchise than what's given.
  
• Beached: Having the upper hand on the other four playoff contenders in the AFC, the Miami Dolphins laid a massive egg against the Buffalo Bills. How bad was it? Miami got blown out, 56-26, as Tua Tagovailoa threw three picks in the game. Thus, the Dolphins got humiliated out of the playoff picture. Of course, that left room for...
  
• THE CLEVELAND BROWNS ARE BACK IN THE PLAYOFFS! For the first time since 2002, the Browns are back in the playoffs. They beat their rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 24-22. The Browns will take on those same Steelers in next week's wild card round. Could they beat Pittsburgh again?
