Or "Alberta Tea", for that matter. In any case, the Edmonton Oilers are off to a hot start and it isn't just Connor McDavid. McDavid does have 12 points, which does help give his teammates quality scoring opportunities. It's his teammates capitalizing on these opportunities, such as James Neal. Believe it or not, Neal leads the NHL with eight goals. But McDavid isn't the only one who's setting up golden opportunities.
Leon Draisaitl (12 points, eight assists) has done his part on the attack with McDavid. Suddenly, the Oilers are deep at the center spot, a much needed boost for a team that everyone thought would be a cellar dweller in the NHL. The Oilers started off this season with a five-game winning streak and have ten points in the Pacific Division, good enough for first. But can the Oilers keep this up, especially since they haven't played the likes of the Predators, Golden Knights, and Blues yet? Stay tuned.
