Steelers' off-Season Checklist

Did you know there wasn't a single NFL team that went 8-8 last season? Anyways, Pittsburgh had high Super Bowl expectations, but missed the playoffs due to endless drama surrounding Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell. What do they need to do to rebound and return to their Super Bowl glory?

• Resolve the Antonio Brown Situation (done): The Steelers had a messy situation in their hands involving Antonio Brown and they had to find a way to make things work out. The ensuing result was Brown getting traded to the Oakland Raiders for a third round pick and a fifth round pick. This turned out to be an underwhelming offer the Steelers presented.
  
• Get a Linebacker (done): Complementing T.J. Watt with an opposite linebacker will help Pittsburgh in the pass rush. Mark Barron is a good veteran pick-up and help aid the growth of Watt as a linebacker.
  
• Shore Up the Secondary: Pittsburgh's secondary was a major catalyst in why the Steelers flamed out last year. Getting burned on coverage after coverage resulted in Pittsburgh not being able to keep up and losing was the result. Artie Burns hasn't lived up to his potential and the safety position needs to be addressed. Drafting and developing a couple secondary pieces will help Pittsburgh with their sub packages.
