Sheffield United's Checklist

Behind a stellar midfield and defense, Sheffield United managed to finish ninth in the Premier League. Sheffield United's 3-5-2 formation proved to be frustrating for opponents to figure out. Still, Sheffield United can go higher. What do they need to do to get better?
  • Replace Dean Henderson: The departing goaltender had 13 clean sheets and 0.93 GA60 for Sheffield United last season. With Henderson gone to Manchester United, they'll need a new netminder. The good news is that the market is extremely friendly price-wise, with the highest price possibly going for under 3 million Euros. Some potential replacements include Sinan Polat and Martin Campana.
  • Attack The Net: While the defensive side of the Blades held down the fort (fourth-fewest goals allowed with 39), the offense only scored 39. If they had an additional forward, the Blades would've been in a Europa League spot. Therefore, the main focus will be on the offense getting better than just over a goal per game. Some viable options for Sheffield United include Jordan Ibe and Lorenzo Melgarejo.
