Redskins' Off-Season Checklist

Like the Dolphins, Washington had another pedestrian season, going 7-9 in 2018. Can Washington break through their mediocrity next season? What do the Skins need to do to take control of the NFC East?

• Find a Replacement for Alex Smith: It's not that Alex Smith is a Blake Bortles-level of bad quarterback. Smith suffered a devastating leg injury last year where he broke two bones in his right leg, the tibia and the fibula. Smith isn't the only one facing uncertainty; the Redskins must find a replacement for him.
• Find a Big-Time Receiver: Washington is rumored to be in the mix for Antonio Brown. Brown would be a major boon for Washington, helping to bring a dynamic threat to the offense. Unfortunately, Washington doesn't have much in the line of picks this year. It'll be interesting to see where Bruce Allen and company go about this.
• Depose Dan Snyder: The real reason why you should hate Washington isn't their team nickname as much as it is Dan Snyder. Snyder tried to sue the fans and has placed draconian rules such as not having signs at Fedex Field. Like the Dolphins, Washington better find a way to depose Snyder before he buries the team into further irrelevancy.
