The Cincinnati Bengals had the no. 1 pick in the NFL Draft and are going through some changes right now. Out is Andy Dalton and in is Joe Burrow. Staying is A.J. Green. So how well did Cincinnati do?
It appears that the Bengals are priming for a takeover of the AFC North in the future. Adding Tee Higgins to complement Joe Burrow will be a nice touch to a budding offense. You already have a nice running back in Joe Mixon and you still have veteran A.J. Green in the fold. Other than that, it's been relatively quiet.
That's not necessarily a bad thing for Cincinnati; the team is still rebuilding and hoping to strike it big in the future. With their franchise quarterback in tow, the Bengals just need to develop a little more before contending for a possible Super Bowl. I give them a 7 out of 10.
