Raiders' Off-Season Checklist

Jon Gruden and the Raiders made a lot of noise this season when they traded away superstars Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper. Gruden has said, among many other things, that this would help prepare the Raiders for contention once they move to Las Vegas. What do they need to do in the meantime to get ready for 2020?

• Find a Temporary Home (not done): First and foremost, the Raiders need a place to stay before they settle in their Las Vegas stadium. Rumors have swirled that Oracle Park in San Francisco would be a possibility along with Glendale, Arizona, and Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. In any case, the Raiders need to remain steadfast on finding a temporary home before the 2019 season rolls around.
  
• Keep Accumulating Draft Picks (not done): The Raiders already have three first round draft picks in the upcoming draft. Here's the funny thing: Gruden may not be done reconstructing this team. Players like Tahir Whitehead and Keleichi Osemele may be dealt as the next part of Gruden's purge.
  
• Add a Big Piece for the Future (not done): Antonio Brown has been linked to the Raiders in various reports. While having the disgruntled Steelers receiver on the roster may not make sense now, it will help the Raiders if they are to reach that 2020 contention window. The Raiders should see what Pittsburgh is offering and see if it's worth taking the bait.
