Premier League Players to Watch For

With the advent of a new Premier League season, the hype is reaching peak levels. But this blog post is geared towards those who aren't mega fans of the league. Who should you watch for as a new football season arrives?
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal): Last year's top goal scorers had 22 goals apiece. They were Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane and... Arsenal's Aubameyang. The Gabonese striker has blazing speed and can score with both feet. Just check out this video of Aubameyang running around the field. The dude can fly.
  • Christian Pulisic (Chelsea): The 22-year-old wunderkind is supposed to replace Eden Hazard's starpower for the Pensioners. Pulisic had a good CONCACAF tenure, but how will the American handle pressure in the United Kingdom?
  • Callum Wilson (AFC Bournemouth): Not many international football fans know AFC Bournemouth, but they should know who Callum Wilson is. The Cherries' forward had 14 goals last season and is one of the most intelligent players in the game. Wilson, Ryan Fraser, and Joshua King power Bournemouth's offense that makes them a potent force.
  • Paul Pogba (Manchester United): What will happen with the French midfielder? Manchester United is looking to sell Pogba and clubs like Juventus are looking to pick him up. Will the transfer trouble during the summer severely affect the Red Devils?
  • Jordan Pickford (Everton): The English goalkeeper had 14 clean sheets for Everton, which was tied for third in the Premier League last season. If Everton is to keep up with the "Big Six" this season, Pickford will be a key component to having a competitive squad.
  • Leroy Sane (Manchester City): Many people talk about Sergio Aguero or Raheem Sterling when it comes to Manchester City, but they should know who Leroy Sane is. The winger had 10 assists last season and is great at distributing. His insane dribbling will keep defenders off balance and can isolate in one-on-one situations.
