So I actually found the patch to include current rosters for the Tecmo Super Bowl simulation I did a few days ago. Now, we can have an actual "Ice Cold" simulation between New England and Los Angeles. This game was actually like the original simulation, only with just one fumble (an early Tom Brady fumble), which was recovered by Los Angeles's Bryce Hager. The Rams went on to kick a field goal to take the early lead, but Brady and the Patriots responded with ten second quarter points to lead at the half, 10-6. The Rams got a field goal in a mostly milquetoast third quarter to pull within a point, then proceeded to take the lead with a Todd Gurley touchdown run. The Patriots responded with a late drive of their own thanks to Julian Edelman's work, but could only muster a field goal to tie the game. Then what seemed like the game was headed to overtime turned into a shocking walk-off as Robert Woods caught a game-winning reception from Jared Goff to give the Rams a Super Bowl victory. Once again, America sans the New England region and New Orleans rejoiced. Will we see this same result come tomorrow? Will Tom Brady get ring number six?
