Oklahoma City Thunder Season Preview

This off-season, the Oklahoma City Thunder finally decided to blow it all up. Sam Presti gave away Russell Westbrook and Paul George for draft picks, kickstarting the rebuild in Oklahoma City. What should you expect from the Thunder this season?

• Chris Paul Is In the House: After a disenchanted relationship with James Harden, Chris Paul is the big star in Oklahoma City. The Thunder do have a plethora of draft picks at their disposal, ranging all the way to 2026. Presti wasted no time constructing the rebuild after the Durant-Westbrook experiment fell just short.
  
• Could More Pieces Be Gone? Steven Adams could potentially be flipped since he's due to become a free agent in 2021 along with Dennis Schroder. There has even been rumors of Chris Paul being linked to the Miami Heat, although I'm sure Pat Riley doesn't want Paul's drama. These are just a few names that could be traded in the near future.
  
• Expect Some Mediocre Basketball: Unless the Thunder somehow put together a miraculous effort and play solid basketball, there's no way they'll be a good team this season. This is especially true with the Northwest division looking tougher than before. Denver, Portland, and Utah all look like viable threats to make the NBA Finals.
