Nostalgia Game Review: Secret of Mana

This "Nostalgia Game Review" takes a look at Secret of Mana, a game made by SquareSoft, back when SquareSoft and Nintendo had an amicable relationship. The RPG also had interactive combat elements where up to three characters can engage in combat.

The combat system is a combination of The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy. The combat system may take some time to get used to. However, once you've understood the mechanics of each character such as when to attack and what weapons work best, the game should be easier to grasp.

The music in this game has a sense of adventure in it. From the soothing melody played in the overworld to the boss battle that is action-packed, but not overly intense, the music plays perfectly into the game's situation.

Overall, the game is underrated and should be given a look. If you're tired of Final Fantasy and want a new RPG to take on, this should be the game for you to try.
