NFL Teams to Watch for This Season

A few weeks from now, a new NFL season will dawn. In fact, it'll be the 100th NFL season to take place, which makes it monumental for the league. You're accustomed to the Patriots and the Steelers being successes, but there are a few teams to keep an eye on this year. Here are a few teams to watch for in this centennial season.

• San Francisco 49ers: This is all dependent on if Jimmy Garappolo lives up to the hype this season. This is also dependent on if the young defense takes a step forward and actually commits a lot more than two turnovers in a season. San Francisco loaded up their backfield and bolstered their edge rushing, but a lot will depend on if Garappolo can be the quarterback the Niners hoped he would be.
  
• Atlanta Falcons: A big reason for Atlanta's paltry season last year was due to injuries. A lot of team. Defensive mainstays like Deion Jones and Keanu Neal were injured, leaving Atlanta exposed. They should be getting these guys back and they'll have a better interior offensive line. It's a matter of avoiding injuries this season.
  
• New York Jets: As crazy as it seems, the Jets do play in a mediocre AFC East division and are facing the NFC East this season. There are questions about the offensive line considering a few of their starters are battling injuries. But the Jets did make moves this offseason, namely running back Le'Veon Bell and inside linebacker C.J. Mosley. Losing Avery Williamson on defense will hurt. But the Jets can sneak into the playoffs, especially if they only have to deal with the Patriots in their division this season.
  
• Cleveland Browns: With all this talent amassed and the hopes of FINALLY getting a franchise quarterback a reality, can this Browns team put it altogether? They look more dynamic offensively, but if this team is all hype, Browns fans will have an all-too-familiar feeling in their hearts.
