Newcastle United's To-Do List

Unlucky 13th. That's where Newcastle United finished in the Premier League last season. What can they do to avoid that dreaded place?

• Find New Ownership (close to done): Sometimes, a change in ownership can change a team's fortunes for the better. Whether a deadbeat owner exists for a team or a meddling owner does too much, a fresh face (or faces) can help the team's fortunes. Current owner Mike Ashley is looking to sell the team, with suitors such as the Bin Sayed Group getting set to take over. Newcastle needs committed owners willing to do what it takes to strategically compete.
• What To Do With Rafa Benitez? Once the 'takeover' is complete, the Magpies will need to figure out what to do with their manager. Reports are out that the Bin Sayed Group wants to keep Benitez as their manager once the takeover's complete. This is all in spite of the rumors swirling around Jose Mourinho and the Newcastle job.
  
• Getting A Striker: The Magpies would like to also add a striker to the mix for next season. Unfortunately, they lost out on Club Brugge's Wesley Moraes, who opted to go to Aston Villa instead.
