NBA Teams I'm Excited to See in the Postseason Hunt

I did the teams I'm excited to see in the NHL postseason hunt. Now, I'm doing the NBA teams I'm excited to see in the playoff hunt. Some teams are smaller market teams that overcame some sort of adversity and some haven't been to the playoffs in a while. Here are the teams I'm excited to see in the postseason hunt.

• Brooklyn Nets: The re-emergence of DeAngelo Russell and a well-rounded bench has Brooklyn fighting for a playoff spot. A team that was once the laughingstock of the NBA (especially for the Paul Pierce/Kevin Garnett trade) has turned their fortunes around and are near a playoff spot.
• Detroit Pistons: The team itself might not be the most exciting of teams and their fate may be sealed against the 76ers in the first round. But it's nice to see the Pistons be in the playoff hunt, even if they desperately need to scrap everything and just tank it.
• Orlando Magic: Nikola Vucevic has catapulted the Magic to the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs, but he isn't doing it alone. D.J. Augustin (11.6 PPG, 5.2 APG) has given Orlando solid guard play and the Magic have been a stingy team to score on (106.4 PPG, fifth in the NBA).
• Indiana Pacers (clinched postseason berth): If trading away Paul George was not enough, losing the key player they got in the trade in Victor Oladipo hurts even more. Still, the Pacers are in play for home court advantage in the first round thanks to Myles Turner being a presence in the paint and Nate McMillan's outstanding coaching.
  
• Denver Nuggets (clinched postseason berth): Mike Malone's squad is fighting for Western Conference supremacy with a balanced scoring attack. Nikola Jokic's emergence as a superstar is helping the cause for Denver as well.
