So we have a venue set, a date set, and a format set for an NBA return. All we got to do is wait for July 31st to roll around and we'll be back in the swing of things. With that being said, here is my pick for the NBA Finals.
Representing the Eastern Conference is... Milwaukee. As long as Giannis Antetokounmpo can step up his game in the playoffs and the Bucks spread out the floor, Milwaukee should be good to go for a trip to the Finals. Plus, it's the Eastern Conference, so it can't be that hard to win, right? A couple players to watch out for not named the Greek Freak are the Lopez brothers, Brook and Robin. Both add to the ridiculous amount of size Milwaukee has and will be physical presences in the playoffs, especially in the interior. There really isn't much competition in the East aside from Toronto and their crew of outside shooters. Then again, Kawhi Leonard isn't around in Toronto. That should make life more bearable for Milwaukee. Here's where things get complicated. You have two formidable Hollywood teams in the Western Conference. On one hand, you have the Los Angeles Lakers, who have let Anthony Davis be the imposing, physical force he was destined to be, along with improved shooting. On the other hand, you have the balanced Los Angeles Clippers, who are simply the best two-way team around. There are other teams to watch out for like the high-scoring Houston Rockets, the selfless Denver Nuggets, and the defensive-minded Utah Jazz. However, the focus will be on the two Tinsel Town teams as the playoffs roll around. So who will face Milwaukee in my NBA Finals? I'm going with... the Lakers. Don't be surprised if the Clippers make it to the NBA Finals, though.

These are all great picks for the season. Personally, I have confidence that the Lakers will come on top. I mean, the leadership of Lebron James is not something that we can just laugh about. I believe that him paired up with Anthony Davis will make the Lakers the champion in no time. It will be their year this year, I say that because I think that they are stronger than any other contender that is out there at the moment.
