My Favorite Pokemon

Currently, I'm playing old-school Pokemon and am trying to beat the Elite Four. With that being said, it made me think of all the pokemon that I've admired. My list does not include any legendary pokemon since that would be too easy. Here's the list of my ultimate pokemon team (including those not in Sword/Shield):
  • Crobat: My personal favorite pokemon. Crobat is a quick pokemon that can hit hard from the get-go. Crobat can inflict status conditions or can take out some health. Crobat is especially useful in the modern landscape, being able to counter Fairy-type pokemon with ease.
  • Lucario: Like Crobat, Lucario is able to take care of Fairy-types without much of a problem. Lucario is also a well-versed pokemon, being able to hit hard physically and specially.
  • Haxorus: Haxorus has a ridiculous attack stat that gets even higher with Dragon Dance. Imagine getting wrecked by a powered-up Outrage from Haxorus. Garchomp is also a nice option if you don't mind the 4X Ice-weakness and lack of Dragon Dance.
  • Barraskewda: Barraskewda can hit fast and hard, with base attack and speed stats at 123 and 136, respectively. Believe it or not, Barraskewda has access to a wide array of moves, ranging from Drill Run to Poison Jab to Crunch to Close Combat. If you want a pokemon that can hit like a truck right out the shoot, Barraskewda is your go-to pokemon.
  • Tyranitar: Tyranitar may not be the fastest pokemon aroun, but its other stats are superb. In fact, Tyranitar's base stats add up to 600, the stat total for a pseudo-legendary pokemon. Tyranitar can also learn a myriad of moves (including Dragon Dance) and has a great ability in Sand Stream, which makes it even more useful.
  • Sceptile: Sceptile might not be a favorable option compared to its fellow Hoenn starters. However, Sceptile is fast, knows a wide array of moves, and can power up its Grass-type moves in a pinch with Overgrow. Don't sleep on Sceptile, for it has plenty of uses.
