October baseball is here and in a unique form. You have 16 teams in the mix, which will draw the ire of the "purists", but will generate interest from more fan bases. Baseball should see an exciting postseason, but there's the big question that remains. Who will win it all?
My answer will still be the Los Angeles Dodgers since they are the best team on paper. A stacked rotation even in the back end, a tough lineup top to bottom, and relief for days should make the Dodgers tough. If Clayton Kershaw can shake his postseason woes, the Dodgers should win their first title since 1988. I believe they will do it over the Tampa Bay Rays, though. I don't know if the Yankees will be able to make it through this year. I like Gerrit Cole, who has a proven postseason pedigree. However, New York's back end of the rotation could be costly. Tampa Bay has always been a great club in terms of relief and this year should be no different. They are also a power hitting lineup that can rake.
