Masters Preview

So I didn't realize the Masters was coming up until I saw the Par 3 contest today. One, that's an indication of how quickly time flies. Two, that's an epiphany of how little I've been paying attention to golf. Therefore, it is imperative for me to give my preview of the Masters. So, here goes!

• I'm Not Counting on Tiger to Win: Back in the day, it was Tiger against the field in terms of betting. Tiger Woods was such a dominant force in the PGA that his Masters victory was forecasted as a mere coin flip. But with injuries, the death of his father, and numerous swing coaches by the wayside, it seems to have taken a toll on one of golf's greatest players. Yes, Tiger has improved to the point of winning a PGA event in recent memory. However, Father Time and shaky putting have subjected Tiger to just speculation of winning another major. He may be in the running to win another major, but I wouldn't bet on him winning the Masters anytime soon.
• Wait, Mark O'Meara is Still Playing? The guy's been around since I've taken any form of interest in the PGA.
• Will Jordan Spieth Recover? Back in 2015, Spieth had a major breakthrough, winning two majors (one of those wins was the Masters). However, Spieth has hit a road block, missing the cut in the 2018 Valspars Championship and at the U.S. Open. He hasn't even won a tournament since July 2017. Can Spieth regain his mojo and get back to being the dominant force in the PGA's modern era?
  
• What Will Rory Do? What About the Field? What's Rory McIlroy going to do? What about Jason Day? Rickie Fowler? You know who I want to see win the Masters? Lee Westwood. The man is due for a win and Westwood can crush the ball on top of that.
