Lions' Off-Season Checklist

6-10. Last place in the NFC North. Same Old Lions. What can Detroit do to actually get somewhere aside from missing the playoffs?

• Get a Tight End: Detroit got rid of Eric Ebron, which seemed like a relief for Lions fans. The only problem was that Ebron saw some success in Indianapolis, turning into Andrew Luck's red zone target. The Lions can go for the bigger T.J. Hockenson or go for the quicker Irv Smith, Jr. in the draft.
  
• Upgrade at Linebacker: Rumor has it that Quandre Diggs is trying to recruit Jordan Hicks to come to Detroit. Jarrad Davis is still developing and Devon Kennard can't be the best linebacker of the group. Adding Hicks or a similar linebacker will help the Lions defensively.
  
• Work on the Defensive Line: Ezekiel Ansah is most likely headed somewhere else, so the Lions should look at finding his replacement. The inside of the defensive line also needs to be addressed, which is where Clelin Ferrell fits in nicely. Again, the Lions could use defensive help of ANY kind sans the secondary.
