Before you all rip on me for requesting that Harbaugh get canned, here are a few statistics to throw at you. Harbaugh is 0-4 against Michigan's rival, Ohio State. In fact, he's 2-6 overall against the Buckeyes and Michigan State. Despite bringing in some of the best recruits in the country (see Rashan Gary and Donovan Peoples-Jones), his teams have failed to step up against winning teams.
Take for example, today's opponent, Wisconsin. Jonathan Taylor had over 100 yards rushing in the first quarter alone. It was a 35-14 asskicking in Madison. Shea Patterson had a forgetful performance, going 14 for 32 and throwing an interception. The Wolverines had four turnovers altogether in that loss and had 299 total yards. That is an indictment on Harbaugh preparation for big opponents. Harbaugh has a tendency of sticking with his game plan and failing to adjust mid-game. When Urban Meyer unleashed Dwayne Haskins the later part of last year's Michigan-Ohio State contest, Harbaugh stuck with his plan of trying to stop the run... and got roasted by a score of 62-39. Don't get me wrong, Harbaugh's a good coach that can win. But against a big rival, that's unacceptable. If Harbaugh is to make his time count, he'll have to make some adjustments rapidly.
