Happy National Left-Handers Day!

In honor of all the lefties in the world, I'm going to give a short list of my favorite left-handed pitchers! Some of these are throwbacks, so don't feel too ashamed if your pitcher isn't on the list.

• Randy Johnson: "The Big Unit" has made a living striking out batters with his overpowering slider. From throwing a no-hitter against the Tigers to his ageless perfect game against the Braves, Johnson has always been a bona fide left-hander.
  
• Sandy Koufax: Not many people know this, but Koufax was a lefty. A career 2.76 ERA and 2,396 strikeouts for the seven-time All-Star made for an illustrious career for the "Left Arm of God".
  
• Tom Glavine: A member of Atlanta's vaunted rotation during the '90s, Glavine was also the MVP of the 1995 World Series. Believe it or not, Glavine was actually drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.
  
• Clayton Kershaw: A mainstay of the modern Dodgers teams, Kershaw continues to overpower opponents. Kershaw and Justin Verlander are the only two pitchers this decade to win the Cy Young and MVP in the same season.
  
• Madison Bumgarner: The Giants ace has been a postseason stud, even winning MVP of the 2014 World Series. He's even known to hit a few dingers, as made evident by his two Silver Slugger awards.
