Everton's Checklist

Everton finished the 2019-2020 campaign with 49 points, good enough for 12th in the Premier League. What can they do to get within striking distance of Europa League qualifying?
  • Go Down The Middle: The "Dogs of War" are looking to get better in the middle and back of the field. Currently, they're in advanced talks to bring in Atletico Madrid's Santiago Arias for 13 million Euros and have already agreed to a contract with midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure. Everton is also taking a look at defender Nikola Maksimovic of Napoli, a player Carlo Ancelotti admires. Everton should also take a look at Alessandro Florenzi, another player Ancelotti would love.
  • A Possible Return? No, it's not Tim Howard. Instead, rumors are circulating that striker Victor Anichebe may be on his way back to the Toffees. Another player the Toffees are linked to is James Scott of Hull City. Reuniting with an old friend could help Everton score more during the season.
