Dolphins' Off-Season Checklist

The Miami Dolphins started their "tank" campaign by going 5-11. This is surprisingly good considering how many experts predicted them to possibly go winless. What can the Dolphins do to take the next step forward in their "process"?

• Get Their Franchise Quarterback: Ironically, the Dolphins might still get Tua Tagovailoa despite their awful tank job. Tua suffered an ACL injury during his last season with Alabama, hurting his draft stock. The Dolphins could trade up to the third spot to get Tua or they could wait until the fifth pick. In any case, they'll end up with their guy no matter what.
  
• Skill Players Are A Must: DeVante Parker showed some promise as the top receiver for the Dolphins, amassing 72 receptions for 1,202 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. The Dolphins will need another receiver to accompany him and take the pressure off Parker. They will also need a running back at some point. This should make things easier for Tua.
  
• Draft, Draft, Draft: Luckily, the Dolphins have draft picks galore in the upcoming draft. It won't be a one-draft resolution for Miami, so it may take a year or two for the Dolphins to be competitive again.
