Colts' Off-Season Checklist

After Andrew Luck's shocking retirement, the Indianapolis Colts managed to stay alive until the end of the regular season. They finished with a record of 7-9, but still have questions. What can the Colts do to get back to Super Bowl contender status?

• Look For Other Options At Quarterback (done... for now): Jacoby Brissett wasn't bad as the Colts quarterback; he threw for 2,942 yards, 18 touchdowns, and six interceptions. However, is Brissett the long-term answer for Indianapolis? Brissett received a two-year, $30 million contract extension in September, but questions remain about Brissett being the long-term answer.
  
• Find A Wide Receiver For Brissett: In order for Brissett to be successful, he'll need a good receiver to accompany him. Jerry Jeudy looks like a solid option for the Colts in the first round. However, this is a deep draft for receivers. Indy could also look for later-round options to satisfy their search. In any case, 607 receiving yards for the top receiver from last season is a bit of a letdown.
  
• Address The Blocking Positions: The Colts have the second-largest amount of cap space in the 2020 off-season ($86,162,964) and should spend it wisely. Positions like offensive tackle and tight end should be looked at for improvement. There are also draft options like Austin Jackson that the Colts should consider.
