Colts' Off-Season Checklist

There are growing concerns surrounding the Indianapolis Colts and their franchise quarterback, Andrew Luck. Will Luck ever come back? What can they do to protect him better? Most importantly, what did they do to better themselves as a team overall?

• Fix the Offensive Line (done): While many people scratched their heads over the Colts trading down in the draft, their draft move made sense... on paper. Guards Quenton Nelson and Braden Smith will be a part of the line sent to protect Andrew Luck, who keeps falling to numerous injuries.
  
• Get Some Playmakers (mostly done): The Colts are taking a chance on tight end Eric Ebron, whose time in Detroit didn't exactly pan out well. The Colts also picked up Ryan Grant to bolster their receiving group. If they want, they can go after Dez Bryant and add another target for Andrew Luck.
  
• Shore Up the Secondary (not done): Indianapolis had one of the worst secondaries in the NFL last year, giving up 3,946 total passing yards (28th in the NFL). They also gave up the most yards per attempt through the air (eight yards per attempt). It's imperative that the Colts complete the revamping of their defense by finding a couple viable cornerbacks.
  
• Add Some Linebackers (done): Darius Leonard fills the need for a linebacker for the Colts. The Colts also added depth, drafting Matthew Adams and Zaire Franklin.
