College Football Winners And Losers, Week Three

Looks like another conference is joining in on the 2020 fun this season! Well, this conference delayed their season due to the coronavirus. Still, it's nice to see other conferences partake in the fun. Anyways, here's who won the week and who blew the load.
  • Winner: The Big Ten: After waiting nearly a month, we got Big Ten football! Mid-atlantic and midwestern college football fans alike rejoice at the news of Big Ten football returning for the fall. The fun kicks off on October 24 with Michigan against Minnesota leading the way. One date you should circle on your calendar is December 12, where the Big Game will happen along with Wisconsin and Iowa.
  • Winner: Miami Hurricanes: Dwayne Johnson's alma mater made a statement on Saturday, putting the hurt on #18 Louisville, 47-34. Quarterback D'Eriq King led the way, going 18 for 30 with 325 passing yards and three touchdowns. Other contributors include Camron Harris (nine carries for 134 rushing yards and a touchdown) and Brevin Jordan (seven receptions for 120 yards and a touchdown). Looks like the ACC won't be so easy for Clemson after all...
  • Loser: Oklahoma State: Yes, the Cowboys won 16-7 against the Tulsa Hurricanes. But there's no excuse for an 11th-ranked team to let Tulsa hang around like that. Two turnovers, Grant Sawyer's seven total tackles (3.5 for loss), and Zevan Collins's three sacks kept the Hurricanes in the game. For those of you who bet their money on Oklahoma State (especially on the over/under), my condolences go out to you.
  • Loser: A Boring Saturday: It was just a ho-hum Saturday. Nothing noteworthy happened aside from Appalachian State getting beat by Marshall.
Other Winners: Cbo Flemister, Central Florida
Other Losers: Memphis not being able to play any games, Appalachian State

Playoff Four:
  1. Clemson
  2. Georgia
  3. Alabama
  4. Oklahoma

I believe that college football has a lot of potential. If we can make things happen for college programs, then we might be able to identify talented individuals sooner. I want to be able to produce talents at the same level of Patrick Maholmes. I want a quarterback that can win me games. I think that college programs are the best avenue to do that, which is why I will try my hand at develop young talents there for now.
