We finally got an upset in the top three!! We also got some intriguing story lines to go with the week. Who's got some bite and who got bitten?
  • Winner: Oklahoma: The Sooners got their revenge from last season as they upended #11 Texas, 34-27. Granted, it wasn't one of the traditional Sooner offensive displays many football fans are accustomed to seeing. However, both Jalen Hurts and Kennedy Brooks combined for 236 rushing yards and a touchdown on 27 carries. Nevelle Gallimore also had a big day for the Sooners, making four total tackles, two sacks, and two tackles for loss. In fact, the Sooners had nine sacks on the day and 15 tackles for loss.
  • Winner: Wisconsin: Wisconsin got their fourth shutout this season, beating Michigan State, 38-0. The #8 Badgers held the Spartans to only 30 rushing yards (149 total yards) and got two picks in the game (Zack Baun and Rachad Wildgoose). If you're looking for a playoff sleeper, don't sleep on the Badgers. They might just make a run in the Big Ten.
  • Winner: Charlie Brewer: Brewer helped fend off Texas Tech with 352 passing yards, 55 rushing yards, and three rushing touchdowns. Brewer helped the surprising Baylor Bears to a 6-0 start.
  • Loser: Charlie Brewer: Yet, Brewer almost cost the Bears the game. Although he was sacked five times and hurried four times, he did throw three picks as a result. He was the definition of a double edged sword this game.
  • Loser: Jake Fromm: Georgia's quarterback had a terrible day, throwing three interceptions and losing a fumble in #3 Georgia's upset loss to South Carolina. The Bulldogs aren't out of the playoff picture and still control their destiny in the SEC East. However, one more loss could do them in and have them miss out on the SEC Championship. Fromm will be required to handle the ball better the rest of the way.
  • Loser: Rutgers: Really? One passing yard from Johnny Langan? That's it? Demote Rutgers to Division II, please.
Other Winners: Utah, Temple, Minnesota
Other Losers: Wake Forest, Georgia Tech's nightmare season, Vanderbilt

Playoff Four:
  1. Alabama
  2. Clemson
  3. Ohio State
  4. Oklahoma
