College football winners and losers, Week 15

The championship season is near, with teams clinching spots in the title game. Who's having a "Happy Holiday" and who's acting like a Grinch?

• Winner: LSU: What has escalated into a tumultuous season has ended on a positive note for Ed Orgeron and the Tigers. Orgeron's front seven gave Kyle Trask fits today, sacking him four times while registering six tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, and eight QB hurries. Trask even threw two interceptions (including a pick-six from Eli Ricks) from the intense pressure as the defending champions upset #6 Florida, 37-34. LSU's nightmare season might be over, but they went out on a high note.
• Winner: Western Michigan/Ball State's Wild Sequence at the End: Just watch the wild ending and see for yourself how bizarre the ending was.
  
• Loser: Colorado: Allowing 28 unanswered points against Utah killed the #21 Colorado Buffaloes today. Allowing three turnovers also cost Colorado the game. As a result, USC won the Pac-12 South while Colorado will fall out of the Top 25. It was unfortunate because it would've been fun to possibly see the Buffaloes in a New Year's Six bowl.
  
• Loser: Big Ten: Even if Ohio State's a top five team, the Big Ten compromised its dignity by reducing the number of required games for the conference championship from six to five. The Big Ten gave Ohio State an out after Michigan/Ohio State got cancelled and showed that it cares more about profits and ratings than its own reputation.
  

Other Winners: North Carolina, Evan Hull, USC in the second half
Other Losers: Passing in Illinois/Northwestern, Wisconsin, UCLA in the fourth quarter
