College Football Winners and Losers, Week 14

We had ourselves a Group of Five thriller this week! Who is getting the best gifts under the tree and who is getting coal in their stocking?

• Winner: BYU vs. Coastal Carolina: Planned at the last minute, these two non-Power Five schools put on one hell of a show. Seriously. This game came down to the last yard as #18 Coastal Carolina edged out #13 BYU, 22-17. Coastal Carolina shot up to #11 in the latest AP rankings and puts them in a convincing position to make a New Year's Six bowl game.
  
• Winner: Devonta Smith: Alabama's senior wide receiver had a mammoth game against LSU, pulling in eight receptions (including a ridiculous one-handed grab) for 231 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Can anybody stop the top-ranked Crimson Tide and their high powered offense this season?
  
• Loser: A Mundane Weekend: Aside from the BYU-Coastal Carolina thriller, there wasn't much in the line of exciting action. Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Clemson all handled their business with ease. The playoff picture is starting to settle with the top four establishing their spots.
  

Other Winners: Buffalo being ranked for the first time ever, Iowa State reaching their first Big 12 title game, the Sun Belt, Missouri coming back
Other Losers: The Pac-12, Texas Tech almost losing to Kansas, Arkansas's defense in the fourth quarter
