Can These Teams Rebound?

Having just talked about the two surprise teams in the NFL, let's take a look at some of the underwhelming teams in the NFL. Filled to the brim with gaudy Super Bowl expectations, these teams have limped out of the gate. Is there any way these teams can recover?
  • Philadelphia Eagles: Don't let the first place standing fool you; the Eagles are 1-2-1 with their lone win coming against a banged-up 49ers team. Carson Wentz has been erratic and overhyped, completing 60.6% of his passes while throwing four touchdowns and seven interceptions. Wentz has also thrown for 930 passing yards, leaving Eagles fans to call for Jalen Hurts. Aside from the feeble NFC East, their schedule doesn't get any easier; games against the Seahawks, Packers, Saints, Ravens, and Steelers will make things harder for Philadelphia.
  • Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys certainly don't have any quarterback problems; Dak Prescott leads the NFL in passing yards (1,690) and has completed 68.2% of his passes. Dallas's problem is a bit different; their defense is allowing the third-most yards in the NFL (1,722) and are allowing 172.5 yards per game on the ground. Like Philadelphia, Dallas also has to contend with a tough schedule, with games against the Steelers, Ravens, 49ers, and the Cardinals could break Dallas's playoff chances.
  • Minnesota Vikings: Not too long ago, the Vikings got their Minneapolis Miracle and made the NFC Championship. Now, they're 1-3 and lagging behind Chicago and Green Bay in the NFC North. Not having Stefon Diggs around has hurt Kirk Cousins a bit; Cousins is only completing 62% of his passes while throwing for six touchdowns and six interceptions with a QBR of 48.5. With games against the Packers, Seahawks, Bears (twice), and Saints, the Vikings can't afford to make any more mistakes down the road.
  • Houston Texans: Houston's season is already shot after an 0-4 start. Of course, this was the result of playing the Chiefs, Steelers, and Ravens. But the Texans are winless a quarter of the way through the season. As a result, Bill O'Brien has been canned, proving the point of yet another failure from the Bill Belichick tree. With bad trades such as getting rid of DeAndre Hopkins and JaDeveon Clowney, it's easy to understand why O'Brien was let go.
