Can Anyone Stop The Bucks?

Last year, the Milwaukee Bucks were set on winning the NBA title. Behind Greek Freak and key role players like Brook Lopez helped set the tone for Milwaukee's season. However, Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors stopped Milwaukee in their tracks en route to Toronto winning their first NBA title in franchise history.

Now, the Bucks appear like a dominant force again. Spacing out the floor for Giannis Antetokounmpo to dominate has put Milwaukee at a record of 49-8. Not only is this the best record in the Eastern Conference, but in the NBA. The Bucks look to reach the 70-win plateau this season, a mark reached by few teams in NBA history. But who can stop the Bucks in their tracks?
  • Toronto Raptors: The Raptors may not have Kawhi anymore, but they still have the cast from last season that can shoot from the outside all game. With shooters like Fred VanVleet that can three-ball you to death, the Raptors are still a threat without Kawhi. After all, the Raptors just went on a 15-game winning streak. Nick Nurse also employed a strategy from last year's Eastern Conference Final, where the Raptors took away Greek Freak's space, forcing Milwaukee to rely on their role players.
  • Los Angeles Clippers: One reason why the Clippers can take down the Bucks is because they're a team full of two-way players. The Clippers are a team that will take away the perimeter, although that may play to Greek Freak's advantage. Another reason why the Clippers are capable of beating the Bucks is because of Kawhi Leonard himself. As you saw in last season's playoffs, Leonard is capable of taking over a series. With Paul George and a deep bench in tow, the Clippers may wreak havoc on Milwaukee in a best-of-seven series.
  • Los Angeles Lakers: An experienced LeBron James and his protege Anthony Davis may cause trouble for Milwaukee. Davis finally found a role in LA to dominate on the interior and can even set up a nice pick-and-roll with LeBron to boot. The Lakers also have a cast of shooters to rely on this season, something they didn't have last season.
