Boston Celtics Season Preview

The Boston Celtics, once a threat to become the next NBA dynasty, have simmered into just a great team. They did add a nice free agent, though. What does the season hold for the Celtics?

• The End of the Kyrie Saga: Kyrie Irving exited the Boston Celtics on a sour note. The Celtics have been "frustrated and disappointed" with Irving and even some members of the team admitted to dysfunction with Irving around. But now that Irving's gone, the Celtics can finally discover peace.
  
• Kemba Walker Comes In for Boston: Luring Kemba Walker away from Charlotte may be the best move of the summer. Walker has had a good World Cup for the United States. Walker also averaged 25.6 PPG last season and heightened his APG to 5.9. Only six other players have done that last season and that list includes James Harden, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
  
• The Tough Atlantic: Aside from the Knicks being a joke (thanks, James Dolan), the Atlantic Division looks pretty tough. The Sixers added some more size and have gotten stronger in the post. The Nets were Kyrie's destination and also added Durant. The Raptors may have lost Kawhi Leonard, but they still have a playoff team. The Atlantic will be a battlefield throughout the entire 2019-2020 NBA season, one division that'll be tough for Boston to trek through.
