Welcome to another edition of "Blending Buddy", where I show you the smoothies that I blend in the morning. This edition is called the "Squash Match".
  • Handful of blueberries
  • 1/3 sliced yellow squash
  • 1/3 sliced cucumber
  • 1/2-1/3 sliced mango
The yellow squash vegetable, or summer squash, is low in sodium and saturated fats. This type of squash is also a good source of Vitamin A, Protein, Fiber, Magnesium, and Vitamin C. It has many more nutrients contained in this vegetable, so use some yellow squash whenever you can!
