Biggest Super Bowl Stars

With the big game less than two weeks away, it's time to take a look at some of the biggest heroes in Super Bowl history. Who rose to the occasion in the biggest game of the year?
  • Tom Brady: The Patriots quarterback has an obvious standing here. In nine Super Bowl appearances, Brady's thrown for 2,838 yards, 18 touchdowns, and just six interceptions. This comes with a rating of 95.6 and his nine-year stint included back-to-back Super Bowls of 400+ passing yards (LI and LII). A Super Bowl list of this caliber isn't complete with Brady on it.
  • Joe Montana: Before Brady, there was Montana. The "Comeback Kid" has been a stellar Super Bowl quarterback, winning all four of his Super Bowl appearances. Montana has thrown for 1,142 passing yards and 11 touchdowns in four Super Bowls for San Francisco. In fact, he's never had a rating below 100 and has never thrown an interception in the Super Bowl.
  • Vince Lombardi: Winner of the first two Super Bowls, the legendary Packers coach helped make the Super Bowl what it is today. Boosting strong defenses and legends like Bart Starr, Lombardi's brilliance in the big game helped put Green Bay on the map in the NFL.
  • Emmitt Smith: In the 1990's, the Dallas Cowboys were a force. Emmitt Smith was a big part of that wrecking crew, running for 289 yards and five touchdowns in three Super Bowls. There was Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin, but the Cowboys wouldn't have been Super Bowl champions without Smith in the backfield.
  • 1972 Dolphins: They finished the season undefeated. That's a feat of its own.
  • Terry Bradshaw: The former Steelers quarterback and eccentric commentator of the NFL Pregame Show on Fox, Bradshaw has a decorated Super Bowl legacy. Bradshaw won all four of his Super Bowl appearances, with his most memorable performance coming in Super Bowl XIII against Dallas. He threw for 318 yards and four touchdowns in Pittsburgh's 35-31 victory.
