You just won the English Football Championship and got promoted to the Premier League. Congratulations! Now comes with competing with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United. What will you do?

• Boost the Goalkeeper Spot: The Lions are rumored to be looking at Cardiff City goaltender Neil Etheridge for a starter. Etheridge has some history with Smith, having worked with Smith at Walsall in 2015.
• Ross McCormack Shall Be Gone (done)! The striker didn't live up to expectations worth 12 million Euros. McCormack only scored three goals in Championship competition and was banished to Villa's under-23 squad a couple seasons ago because he missed a training session due to a "faulty gate" at his house. McCormack had 12 months remaining on his contract.
  
• Just Survive: The Premier League is top-heavy right now, with squads like Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool ruling the roost. There's no chance for the Villans to win the Premier League unless a Leicester City-esque miracle from a few seasons ago happens. So Villa's best bet is to hang in there and not get mired in the bottom of the Premier League.
