The NBA's Western Conference has always been a bastion for stiff, competitive basketball. Compared to its Eastern Conference counterpart, the Western Conference has always offered more entertaining basketball and more complete teams. This year is certainly no different.
Only 5.5 games separate the No. 1 overall seed, the Los Angeles Clippers (!), from the Houston Rockets (!), who sit tied for 14th with the Utah Jazz. The Rockets and Jazz are only 1.5 games back of the eighth-seeded Dallas Mavericks. Caught in between the playoff contention mix are the following teams:
We are only a quarter of the way through the NBA season and to see this sort of parody is amazing. Even the KINGS, who haven't been to the playoffs in over a decade, are in the mix for a playoff spot. There will be some separation between contenders and pretenders in the next month, but NBA fans should enjoy this while it lasts.
Prediction: The Rockets will still take on the Warriors in the Western Conference Final, with LeBron and crew falling to the Rockets in the Western Conference semifinals.
Today's featured game is Toy Story 2 for the Game Boy Color! With Toy Story 4 being announced for summer of next year, it is fitting to talk about this game and what this game brings. Do you like playing as Buzz Lightyear and jumping around as a bunny? Are you a fan of frustrating game mechanics? Did you like the SNES/Sega version of Toy Story and want to be disappointed by the Game Boy port? This game is for you if you like all of the above. Here's Buzz Lightyear pretending he's the Easter Bunny about to dish out some Easter eggs through his laser.
To infinity and just... a little short. Play the Super Nintendo/Sega version(s) of Toy Story if you want an authentic Toy Story experience.
This offseason has some of the biggest free agents on the market. Big deals will be given, probably to the tune of $200 million+ for at least seven years maximum. While a couple names have come off the market, there are still a few that need destinations. Where will the biggest free agents land? Here are my predictions.
A contender for a wild card spot has emerged in the NFC while the AFC playoff picture remains muddied. What happened this week in the NFL?
The NFL is a storied sport, with teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, and Green Bay Packers littering fans' memories with fame and glory. But what about the teams that are anti-New England in that they never or rarely obtain success? Which franchises are notorious for setting records... the bad kind? Here are some of the worst NFL franchises ever.

A Top Four team went down in flames and another CFP contender fell to its rival. How badly has the playoff race been shaken up?
Other Losers: Florida State's abominable season, USC's abominable season, Tennessee
Trading James Paxton to the Yankees set off what seems to be a domino effect involving a rebuild for Seattle. Paxton, formerly the Mariners' ace with high-velocity stuff, was acquired by New York for top prospect Justus Sheffield and two other prospects. While general manager Jerry DiPoto has said that he hopes to contend by 2020-2021, that would mean doing only a partial rebuild. However, the Mariners can do that and go through the whole deal the way the Yankees did: trading for prospects.
Yes, that would mean players like Mitch Haniger and Edwin Diaz would be gone. However, if the Mariners are to truly contend, they cannot half-ass the effort. This is not the Howard Lincoln/Chuck Armstrong regime anymore, where the Mariners can only hope to 'contend'. Plus, the Mariners would have the contracts of Felix Hernandez and Kyle Seager off the books by 2021. Here are a few trades that can help the Mariners reach that point:
With Thanksgiving Day around the corner (it's tomorrow, so give thanks), everyone and their families will probably be watching the NFL games. But there are some NFL moments where some of the biggest turkeys emerged. Who gobbled their way into NFL infamy?
Week 11 in the NFL regular season concluded with a bang, leaving a high-scoring battle between the Chiefs and Rams in the memories of NFL fans everywhere. What else happened during the past week?
The NHL season is well underway and we already have some major surprises. Which teams are shocking the hockey world?
