There are some honors that I forgot to hand out. I will be awarding the next couple awards to the people who achieved sports excellence this year.
Female Athlete Of The Year: Serena Williams: Williams may have not won any major tournaments this season due to injuries. However, she was named the "Laureus Sportswoman of the Year" and made a run at the Wimbledon final. Williams has also been at the forefront of various controversies, ranging from her Nike attire at the French Open to berating the line judge. Williams should make a comeback in 2019 that will put her back on top.

Executive Of The Year: Dave Dombrowski (Boston Red Sox): Dombrowski assembled a Red Sox team that won 108 games and a World Series title. Getting J.D. Martinez on a nice deal and obtaining World Series hero Steve Pearce are some of the marks Dombrowski has done to get Boston to the top. The Red Sox retain a good chunk of their team for next year, making them a viable threat to repeat as world champions.
My life! Food, sports, school. It's what it is!
